100th Post - Weekend Recap!

WooHoo - it's my 100th post!!
How exciting is that?!?
I'm so glad I finally decided to stick with it and document our lives from pregnancy and beyond!
And here we are...
We had a great weekend...on Friday night we had the MUSC Roast to celebrate making it through another year (seriously...) of residency, and to honor/make fun of the 3rd year residents who are finishing up! It's crazy to think that this time next year we'll be almost DONE! Time really flies!
Dad giving Mills a bottle after we had our scrumptious dinner! Mills was even featured in this  year's slideshow - he's kind of a big deal - and there were three new babies there!
Ashley and Katie hangin' out
Last year I was pregnant at the roast, this year is Katie's turn! :) Ashley, Calee, Liz - any of you are welcome to take on the honors next year... :)
Nicholas being silly and inappropriate...aka his usual self!
Seriously, honey??? HELP, I'm married to a 15-year-old boy!  :)
Let's try this again...
The sweet parents-to-be!!!
It was a late night so I walked Mills around in the stroller until he fell asleep.
"Where's Waldo Mills?"
Love that little stud muffin!
Nicholas was off on Saturday, and we enjoyed our day together...of course the guys had a little "father/son time" (as Nicholas calls it, of course)
And Saturday night we enjoyed dinner at Sesame with our fabulous friends!
And this cutie pie!
And of course this one, too!
Our future mother-in-law/daughter-in-law pic...
The kiddos were checkin' each other out
Mills is such a gentleman. He says, "Of course you can play with my toys, Callahan!"
"And we can hold hands, too"
But the FUNNIEST moment was when she stuck her finger in his mouth, and considering the fact that he puts EVERYTHING in his mouth, he had no problems with it!
hahahaha
Now that's a good friend...she even lends you her finger to suck on!
Katie and Richard played with Callahan, too!
Poor Katie has been soooo sick, so she said it was good to be around the babies so she can be reminded that it's ALL worth it. And it totally is! :)
Dinnertime!
(by the way, Mills takes a bottle so much better from Nicholas than from me...I think he gets confused when I give him a bottle, ha!)
Look at that cool cat!
And Callahan wanted to give Mills a 'goodbye kiss'
Any maybe steal his paci???
Nah, just a sweet kiss.
And then we decided to go get dessert downtown!
YUM!
my sweetie pies
"If I could just get that foot into my mouth!"
What a big girl!
And look who got her first taste of ice cream!!!
She LOVED it, just like her mommy does (and aunt nicole, too)! :)
Auntie Leah got some cuddles and smiles from Millsy-bear...
But after a while Callahan decided enough was enough and SHE wanted her mommy! They were teasing her that they got another bebe. :)
Then we tried for one more pic with the little guy,
but that didn't work out too well, haha!
We had so much fun with all of our sweet friends this weekend!
Unfortunately, I am getting sick. I had a little bit of a sore throat last week, and thought it had gone away b/c I was feeling much better yesterday, but it came back with a vengeance this afternoon and I think I have a really bad cold, yuck! Who gets a cold in the summer?!?
Off to get some rest, hopefully.  Goodnight, ya'll!

  4. Congrats on the 100th post. This is such a great idea. I might have to bring it up to the northland. While I LOVE all the pictures of Mills (and Callahan!) I almost fell out of my seat laughing at the picture you put in of Nicolas. Your face is priceless!
