Hangin' with the Heards

Our DEAR friends, the Heards, are moving to Memphis in TWO days (for Richard to begin his gastroenterology fellowship)...
I can't describe to you how that sentence makes me want to cry. We've been maximizing these past few weeks, and specifically, these past few days. Last night we did dinner at Taco Boy, and tonight we grilled out here at our place {pictures to come}.  So in lieu of crying myself to sleep, I thought I'd share some pics of what we've been up to...
We spent a day at Folly with dear friends...after a quick nap Kirksey was ready to get her feet in the sand...
hey cutie!
 Oh look - it's Liz, pre-baby!!!
Lookin' good, girlfriend!
 picture overload...but can you blame me??
sweet
yum...sand!

hehe, this picture makes me laugh.
me and millsy.
Later that night we also celebrated with sweet friends at Bowen's Island (did we take a picture, friends???)

Last week we also headed to splash zone at the James Island County Park!
{I can just hear his little excited "oooooooh" in that second picture!}
 i just love him. :)
Katie and Kirksey enjoying the pool!
Mills and his "Baywatch run" coming towards Kirksey... :)

 so cute!

 We took many laps on the lazy river (why have we not been enjoying this place before???), and Mills enjoyed running right through the fountains in the wading pool.
 He wanted to go on the water slides with Dad, but he wasn't tall enough. :(
This is what he thought about that rule.

...but he got over it.  :)
And then he heard an airplane!
 Giving Daddy some extra pre-Father's Day love!

We all hung out at the vendue rooftop bar Saturday night...
 It was breathtakingly beautiful...as Charleston at sunset usually is...

 Then on Father's Day we brunched at Fat Hen...can I tell you the number of times us girls went there our first couple of years living here?!? {after all of our races, remember??}

Richard and Kirksey were dancing to the tunes...too precious not to capture...especially on Father's Day, right?!?
Yeah, we're gonna miss our sweet, sweet friends. How very blessed we've been to have all of our friends hand-placed into our lives.
Please don't move.
Okay, thanks!
;)
More pictures to come of our extravaganza!
