Two years ago TODAY...

We were here,
in Clemson, SC...
and I was wearing this...
with THIS big smile on my face
(not to be confused with this faux serious face, ha!)
And after following these sweet little girls down the aisle,
Nicholas and I were doing this {the BEST part}
:)
with these cute guys and gals by our sides...
oh-so-happy!
we were dancing
We were toasting with champagne and eating this
...enjoying the beautiful day/night...
Friends were chatting...
Kids were dancing...
thanks to this AMAZING band
oh...and adults dancing, too! :)
...perhaps some of the dancing was done on stage!!!
My sister-in-law may have also rapped on stage...
We tossed bouquets and garters...
Sweet treats were given on the way out...
And with bubbles soaring in the skies...
Off the bride and groom went!!!
Best night of our lives!!! :)
(Mills was born in the morning, of course, ha, so no comparison!) :)
And off to Ocho Rios we went!!!
We were so grateful to our wonderful family for helping to make that day so special, and our sweet friends for celebrating with us! We can't believe two years have already passed! Thankfully, two years and one baby later, our love is abounding and we are so blessed! Happy two year anniversary to my precious husband! :)

So you've seen the beach pics and the boat pics, here's what else we were up to allll week long at the beach house! (Because I have so many new things to blog about, but I've gotta have these fun times documented here in my virtual scrapbook...so grab a cup of coffee, it's gonna take a while!!!) :)
And somebody...I won't name any names, but somebody got his first taste of rice cereal..
...and it's a shame...
that no one took any pictures of the big event...
"I'm ready, mom!"
"Whoa, what is this stuff?!?"
not too sure...
but I guess I'll take another bite!
It's also a shame that no one was there to witness the event...
...as you can see! :) hehe!
poor thing gets no attention, I tell ya. :)
He did really well, though, and is really picking up this whole "eating" thing. We're still not making it a regular thing yet, but he's getting better and better each time!
What else was Mills up to at the beach?
"Well Gammy and Lulu taught me to shag - the SC state dance of course - because how can you be a perfect southern gentleman without knowing how to dance???"
"And Mommy showed me some moves, too...
I also helped my mommy and grandmothers and great-grandmothers celebrate Mother's Day!
...and spent time with the fam, of course!
With Gammy and Philly:
Practicing my walking skills with Daddy and Pappy:
And I took some 4 generation pics with Daddy's family:
And Mommy's family (although I had about had it with the pics by this point):
I played and hung out with Cousin Gray a lot...
He's pretty cute, too! Good genes run in the family I guess! :)
Mommy and Daddy played games with me:
Mommy laughed and said, "It's George Washington Mills"
My aunts and uncles laid by the pool:
And so did my Mommy!
And my cousin Reese!
I even had my first dip in the pool (feet only for now, the water was chilly!)
I had fun in the sun, for sure!
And I even got to practice my baby model poses
That's my Zoolander "Blue Steel" face.
My aunt Bella had fun, too - she has a really rough life - can't you tell???
In my spare time, I sat in my Bumbo seat and played some more...
"Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the cutest baby of them all?"
My mommy says me...but she's clearly not biased or anything...
I also enjoyed a few dinners out to Greg Norman's, P.F. Chang's, and Bonefish with my parents, Gammy and Philly, and MaMa!
I even strolled around Market Commons with the g-parents so mom could shop a little (at Anthropologie, big shocker!) :)
But my mommy's my most favorite things about vacation were spending time with all of my family and getting to cuddle in bed with my mom and dad in the mornings..."
Gammy snuck in and took these :)
It was a precious Mother's Day WEEK, and I couldn't think of a better way to spend my first Mother's Day than with my sweet little boy, my wonderful Mom and sweet MaMa, and my fabulous mother-in-law and Grammy.
oh, and did I mention this sweet face??? :)
We're already ready to go back! Hopefully it won't be long!
