What we've been up to...

{via iPhone photos...}
Nicholas and I went to the ACC championship in Charlotte, where Clemson thankfully pulled off a big win over Virginia Tech!
Me and Hadleigh
Clemson accepting their trophy!
We built our first fire in the new house {the fireplace, although working, had most recently been used as a gas fireplace, so we - aka the chimney sweeper - had it converted back to a working fireplace per Nicholas' request...and I have to admit I do love the real thing!}
Mills on the "mawnmower" at Lowe's...his treat for behaving while inside...every.single.time.
There has been lots of riding the horsey and car in a shirt, diaper, and boots - the wardrobe of choice for Mills these days...
often times accompanied by a hat {worn however he can get it on} and/or gloves...you know, just for fun.

Me, trying to find something in my closet to fit for Kelley's bridal luncheon/rehearsal dinner {ignore the lack of washed hair/makeup - this is a total phone pic dump!}
Mills loving on Daddy
Hanging out before a Christmas party with friends!
...A little Christmas shopping turned into Mills and I playing around in a sports store...Mills tried on his first set of football pads.  :)
And of course being exhausted from Christmas shopping!
Harley found herself a new napping spot in the playroom...ha!
And then this past weekend and this week my little guy has been under the weather with a nasty cold.  It's like every time he goes to "school" {MMO} regularly he comes home sick...but he has such a good time playing!!!
Thankfully today he has been feeling a lot better!
This morning the guys came to set up Mills' Christmas/birthday present from his grandparents...a new play set for the backyard!  It rained this afternoon so we haven't been able to break it in yet, but he's gonna LOVE it I know!
We also had a blue bath today,
And an early dinner on the couch.  :)
So there you have it - our life via cell pictures for the past couple of weeks!  I haven't had time to read my usual fave blogs, much less write any posts myself, but I'm hoping to get back in the swing of things after the holidays...it's a fun time of year though!  :)

crazytown usa

To say things have been crazy around here would be the understatement of the century...life is B.U.S.Y. right now.  I was sick with a nasty cold/no voice, we went to the ACC championship game in Charlotte, Nicholas had a conference in Columbia and we got to catch up with some dear friends, I've had two "photo sessions" with a new baby boy named Holmes, we're trying to get our house ready for the overflow of house guests we're about to have beginning tomorrow...which brings me to the biggest event at hand...my SIL is getting married THIS Saturday and since she's in NP school, we've been busy bees trying to get everything done for her - lots of little details here and there, and phone calls and emails and all kind of last-minute details!  So needless to say I won't be back until next week! :)  Oh, and throw in decorating for Christmas and chasing around an almost two-year-old...a  really cute almost two-year-old though! :)
See y'all next week!

Out of the loop!

It's been over two weeks since I last posted...we've been BUSY!!!  Traveling to the upstate for Clemson games, fall/Thanksgiving parties, girls night cocktails, Nicholas on call, being exhausted, etc... :)
Cute kiddos at the game last weekend {we'll just pretend the Tigers didn't play this past weekend, mmm-kay???}
 It was Mills' first and last game of this season {he usually stays with my family during the game} - his second Clemson game overall.  Thankfully, we won!
 cute little guy.
Getting his first tiger paw painted on his face {which he quickly smudged, of course}.
 Cousins playing football at the tailgate!
Meg and Izzy!
My boys!
 Sweet little Daisy - the best baby!!!
Waiting for kickoff...
He was a big fan of the balloons!  He did really well sitting in the stands...he got a little restless and wanted to get down towards the end of the first half, but overall he was GREAT!
Don't know what's with my forced smile...let's try that again! :)
My mom picked the boys up at halftime, and we all stayed for the rest of the game and tailgating...then later the boys got to see Santa!  {more on that later!}
I think they had a blast at their first game together!
