Mills' Fall Footwear Collection

Since I now have the excuse that more than one boy will be wearing all of Mills' wardrobe, why hold back, right?!?  Haha! :)
As we've moved out of our precious summer sandals around here, Mills has been on one pair of Stride Rites (which I love and they go with everything), so I figured it was time to select our fall/winter shoe collection - a la toddler.
These first three pairs I ordered from Zappos a few weeks ago:
Mills had some New Balance tennis shoes last year {I liked the lace-up better last year, but with his on-the-move self this year, I knew that the velcro was probably a smarter choice}
I couldn't pass up these precious little Keds - traditional and classic - and did I mention at a great price?!  They look great with his longalls {which I can get away with through this season and that'll be about it}.
Originally I was going to get the navy Keds, but they didn't have them in Mills' size, so I went with this funkier version by morgan&milo - they're precious.  I ordered up a little bit, so he'll be able to wear all of these throughout the fall/winter/early spring {or so I think}!
I recently ran across Livie & Luca's adorable shoe collection, and I LOVE them!  I ordered the pair above (brussels in dark brown suede) and the pair below (london boot in toffee) a little over a week ago from their website (they carry them on Zappos, Piperlime, etc, but I couldn't find the dark brown in the shoe so I went directly to their website instead), and I am anxiously awaiting their arrival!  :)

Okay, so now that you've seen what we're workin' thus far, help me out...
I've had my eye on the Wallabees {by Clarks} and the classic Uggs to round out his seasonal assortment, but I'm having a hard time deciding on colors...
Wallabees in sand suede or beeswax leather???

And Uggs in chestnut or gray???
 What do you think, friends???  Any adorable boys' brands I need to check out asap?

Trick-or-Treat!

Last night we headed over to the Medinas' house for a Halloween party!
Sadly, we didn't hand out candy at our own house, but we sure did enjoy playing with friends/family and trick-or-treating around the neighborhood!
My little tiger... "ROAARRRRRR!" {as he's so good at saying!}
When we headed out on our golf carts, the streets were already lined up with trick-or-treaters!
Betsy and Leah stayed at the house to hand out candy.
Our first stop was Pappy and LuLu's house!  Mills didn't quite get the concept at first, and didn't want to get off of the golf cart! :)
 Mills with Daddy and Pappy
Pappy and Gray!  Does that lion costume look familiar?!? :)
Then we were off!!!  Our backseat golf cart riders...Dawson, Dylan, and Madison.
We had to swing around the block and hit up this house first - the kiddos said they had a chainsaw last year...and they didn't disappoint this year either!  Mills was a big fan of the chainsaw, actually (haha, he loves any type of outdoor equipment/tools), and he kept making that sound for about ten minutes after we drove away!
Our fearless leader of the golf cart pack.
Lots of trick-or-treating photos to follow {see my boys on the far left of the pic}.  Mills got the hang of it and was pretty good at saying his version of "Trick-or-treat" and was even better at his "Thank you's."  :)
{makes me smile}
Wouldn't you trust these doctors?!?  ;)

It got pretty stinkin' cold as the night progressed, so Mills and I were dropped back off at the party while the big kids continued on their candy endeavors.
There was no lack of toys to play with in this huge toy cabinet!
Mills also thoroughly enjoyed giving out candy to the rest of the trick-or-treaters!

Finally I got a pic with my boy!  {although no success on a family pic}
Since the little guy doesn't get to eat candy, we did let him enjoy a little bag of Cheetos he collected in his trick-or-treating efforts.  It was only fair! :)
 And we all three watched The Sing-Off.  Mills took turns between performing for us and Cheeto-munching.  It was a FUN night!
