He's Here!!!

Since it's been well over a week since my last post, I'm sure you've figured as much!
We've had family in town, lots of dear friends coming to meet Hayes, and many, many visitors...plus learning to balance our two little guys and attempting to get back into the swing of things.  So needless to say, this hasn't left a lot of time for blogging!  I'll document the whole story later, but for now, here are some pictures of our sweet, new addition!
Oh yeah, and the proud big brother, too! :)
Our last picture as a family of three!
Just moments after Hayes was born, at 1:44 pm on Thursday, March 15th.
My sweet doctor {looks like I was straining pretty hard to sit up, ha!}
Hayes Hiram Wallace - 7lbs 13oz and 20 inches long
Proud Dad!
Mom and Phil!
Pappy and Lulu!
Mills coming in to meet his "baby bubber" {I had a matching "big brother" outfit for him, but of course he got soaked playing in the water at BeBe's house before he came, so he was wearing a random assortment of clothing, haha!}
Kisses for Mommy!
Checking everything out...
Kisses for "baby bubber!"
Our sweet Hayes - look at all that hair in the back!
Playing with the phone and opening presents from Baby Hayes!
Our family of four!
 I have LOTS of pictures of our two boys together that I'll share with you later! :)
And about 24 hours later - on Friday - we were getting Hayes ready to go home with us!
 Leaving the hospital!
...And arriving home!
I've also got some sweet pictures of us coming home, but I'll save those for later...right now I've got this sweet little baby to feed...
We absolutely adore this little one, and feel so blessed to have two precious baby boys.  It's true what they say...your love doesn't divide, it multiplies! :)
We're so in love with these two little ones, and are adjusting well to our "new normal!" :)
Be back when I can!!!

We're here!

...At the hospital! I'm updating this from my phone, so not sure how it will do - but here are two pics - one of me, here at 40 weeks! Man, it's a lot different planning to come to the hospital than it is when you're in labor - having contractions, water breaking, etc!!! A little less exciting, I must say, but I know the main event will be just as exciting! :) We checked in at 5:30. Still no progress in the dilation department...again, a little different than last time when I was 4 cm when I walked in the hospital! They started me on an oral med, cytotech, a little after 6. It's in really small doses - 1/4 pill then, half pill at 10, and I think one more dose at 2 and 6 am. The nurse checked me again at 10 and still no change - boo! I am having 3 contractions per 10 mins, which my dr said to call her if I got to that point, but they're not painful and with no dilation there was no reason to call. So we shall see, my friends!
My sweet little man came up to have dinner with us (thanks to my MIL)! I just couldn't go too long without seeing him! :) He was great and was very intrigued by the machines. I got a pic of his Daddy explaining the heartbeat and other machines to him. He hopped up and gave me a hug and kiss before he left and said, "Night night, mommy. Love you!"
I swear if this second baby is anywhere near as sweet as his precious big brother he'll be in good shape! :) I love that little boy so much I could just eat him up!
Thank you so much for your sweet comments, texts, fb posts, and calls. We really appreciate your thoughts and prayers!! I'll try to update when I can!

Quite overdue...Robert's B-day in Asheville!

{not to mention this baby...which is almost overdue, as well! :)}
A month and a half ago, we headed to Asheville for the weekend to celebrate one of our dear friend's 30th birthday!  This is the house we stayed at - it was perfect for the weekend's festivities!
Everyone got in pretty late Friday night, but that didn't seem to stop the celebration from continuing until the wee hours of the night...I think we went to bed around 4am?!?  Yep, true story.
There was lots of guitar-playing and pretty much awesomeness, since Bo and Bear were there with their talent galore...{#needtobreathe...if you haven't checked them out before, you DEFINITELY need to - plus, as I've said before, they're from my hometown...even cooler.}  :)
Haha
They played anything and everything for the man of the weekend! :)
And of course, well after midnight, it was time for cupcakes to celebrate Robert's 30th!!!
Bear on the piano...and one of my cutest and dearest friends, Calee {and wife of the birthday boy!}
Saturday morning afternoon began quite the same way...
...and then we headed downtown Asheville to do a little shopping and walking around.
Found a store with FITS socks...score for the Yoes! :)
And we had a great dinner with even better company!
Nicholas had a great time celebrating his best bud's birthday...and he wasn't ready to go home! :(
Almost all of the couples
Sweet friends.
us.
Sweet friends and us.  :)
And we hit up Tupelo Honey for brunch before heading home Sunday afternoon.  We had such a great time celebrating such a wonderful friend - man, we miss our Charleston friends!

And just to keep you updated on the pregnancy forefront...no news, my friends.
{39 weeks}
Went to the doctor on Friday - still no progress - so I go back tomorrow.  If we still have no progress tomorrow, then they will induce me on my due date {Thursday} - crazy!!!  I'll keep you posted!
