My Little Leprechaun

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Would you believe that this time last year was my first week back to work from maternity leave, and this is what my little guy looked like:

And here we are, one year later, spending our St. Patty's Day at the park...sounds much better if you ask me!  ;)
We had playgroup today at the Hazel Parker Playground on East Bay - I had never been there but it was so much fun - AND they have a dog park area, too - perfect!
Mills had lots of fun playing with some of the "big boys"
Would you check out that cool man in the driver's seat?!?
Hey handsome!
Mills also had so much fun swinging with Frances and his other friends - he did NOT want to get out when it was time to go!
Can we discuss how cute Frances is???
And cute little Kennedy!

Since we parked over by Waterfront Park, I couldn't resist letting Mills get his feet wet in the fountains we passed on our way back to the car! After all, it was, in fact, St. Patrick's Day and there were lots of "lucky" coins in the fountain! :) We had to be festive, right?!?
What a beautiful day it was!
And a beautiful city, too...what can I say...it's really tough living in Charleston. ;)
Mills was in awe of the water! He literally just stood there in complete excitement for five or ten minutes!!
...which, of course, I captured every minute of! :)
So, if you don't want to see 1, 645, 350 pictures of my child, you should probably step away now...
What? You do want to see more of this precious boy??? I knew I liked you.
I mean seriously, tell me this face can't make your bad day better!

And because no St. Patty's Day would be complete without an abundance of green...
"What is this, mom? Green milk?!?'
"Crazy! Good thing it still tastes the same!"
Green yogurt, too!
First Mills really wanted to dip his cracker in it...seemed like a good idea.
And then I just decided to give him the spoon and let him have a little fun!
this just seems more efficient, i get it.
a green, bearded Irishman! ha!
"I LOVE St. Patrick's Day!!!!!"
After much fun making a mess, it was bath time indeed!

And after all of those pictures, let's face it...I couldn't leave you hangin' without some bath pics!
 It's the green yogurt monster!!!
 But he's a REALLY cute monster! :)
And this is his little monster face after he splashes and splashes and splashes!!!!
...which he thinks is hilarious!
I mean, can you blame him?!? Looks fun to me!

Hope you had a fun St. Patty's Day as well - I'm one LUCKY momma! :)

  8. Is Mills really wearing Joes jeans? Halirous! Did not know they make designer jeans for 14-month olds;) I love that even a 14-mo old can have St. Patty's Day fun with green milk and yogurt. I met Stacey in one of your pics the other day. She is too cute. xx!
